Many promising triathlon races have fallen flat on the run. Somebody who has made running off the bike his biggest strength is Eric Schwartz, former elite triathlete and duathlete. Among other accomplishments, Eric won the US national championships in duathlon in 2004. Today Eric and I discuss run training for triathletes, as well as why triathletes should give duathlons a go, and how to do that from both a training and racing perspective.
